Challenge:
A grade II listed property located in South Cave, the client was looking to fully refurbish the dilapidated property into a more fitting modern family home.
Solution:
The refurbishment consisted of redesigning the kitchen, living areas and bedrooms to utilise the existing space of the property. Original features were preserved such as the solid wood flooring and wooden beams with modern additions including a new bathroom, kitchen and living space.
Conclusion:
The identity and character of the interior of this grade II listed building was highlighted and modern furnishings and fittings were included to bring this home into the 21st century and resulted in a fit for purpose family home.
