Stem believes that Master Planning is centred around understanding the sustainable relationship between the built environment and the communities that live and work there. Strategically organising an achievable vision for an environment that all stakeholders can be proud of and have a desire to live in. Stem are passionate about creating built environments that are both aesthetically pleasing and fit for purpose.

Stem Architects are experienced in both Master Planning and Urban Design and have developed the Brayford Pool Campus at Lincoln University totalling £200m in capital investment and generating the first new University for over 20 years. This includes multiple universities buildings and student accommodations, in addition to two commercial bridges that connect the city centre with the university campus. Recently, Stem has developed a strong relationship with Barnsley College and are helping them to achieve their estates strategy from 2020-2030 including bringing to fruition a Master Plan for their Wigfield Farm site.
