New Care Home in Lincoln City Centre

Stem Architects are delighted to announce that planning permission has been granted for the construction of a 72 bed care home in Lincoln City Centre for our long-term client Torsion Care.

Located on Lower High Street, the new project will be the first care home built south of the city centre since 1997 and is therefore specifically designed to address the huge undersupply of care home beds and facilities in that area. The focus is on community benefit offering the new care facilities to local residents who can remain close to their loved ones and family homes.

Working closely with the local planning authority the torsion team have developed a modern bespoke “Fit for the Future” residential care facility which sits at ease in its historic surroundings on High Street.

Works are due to commence in the coming months starting with the much-needed demolition of the old car showroom which has remained derelict and blight on Lower High Street over recent years.

Below we share some more visuals of the new care home in Lincoln.
