Challenge:
Boston Borough Council commissioned a new three storey building, replacing the former office building
known as Crown House, located between Lincoln lane and the River Witham in the centre of Boston, Lincolnshire. The existing Crown House building and ancillary buildings are intended to be demolished. The proposal is to construct a new mixed-use building consisting of retail units at ground floor level and 18 no. apartment for market rent on first and second floor. New landscaping and external works will comprise parking, refuse stores, cycle storage and a new public toilet block incorporating changing places unit to replace existing toilet facilities nearby and supplement the new Rosegarth Square public realm area.
