Challenge:
W & AC Farms wanted to develop six new dwellings on their land at Rectory Lea in Fillingham. The development is in a conversation area so the client required the dwellings to match the surrounding dwellings in the area, which is located in the centre of Fillingham village.
Solution:
Due to the nature of the development and being located in a conservation area, a sensitive design was necessary that includes materials that suit the surrounding dwellings. A variety of 2,3,4 and 5 bedroom houses in a traditional brick with modern interior was proposed.
Conclusion:
The Fillingham development offers a variety of houses, which complement the surrounding environment whilst consisting of suitable modern interiors that make ideal family homes. The development provides wisteria-clad features and open green space with stunning views of the local area.
