Full Architectural Service

Stem has over 25 years of experience working predominately in the Education, Residential and Commercial sectors. Mostly notably creating the University of Lincoln’s campus, developing Barnsley College’s campus, and working closely with Lincoln College. Most recently, the Air & Space Institute (ASI) is currently in construction and will be the first building of its kind in the UK.

Stem’s service is focused around forming a collaborative brief that exceeds expectations and meets budget requirements. Stem believes that building rapport is essential for clear communication and producing a cost-effective design that will ensure budgets adhered to. This is demonstrated in our relationship with Lincoln University, which we have designed and project managed many of the current university campus buildings to date, including the RIBA award winning Great Central Warehouse Library, the student union building Engine Shed and the David Chiddick building to name a few.

Stem follows the RIBA plan of work that is made up of briefing, designing, constructing and operational building, which includes RIBA stages 0 to 7. Not all projects require the full architectural service and the team are happy to provide all aspects of the work stages from Concept Design through to Technical Design and Construction.
