A specialist teaching and research building which offers a range of facilities including microbiology, instrumentation, forensic science, test, research and generic science laboratories, all of which are sandwiched between the ‘saddlebag’ staff support and preparation areas. The project also comprised a pedestrian link bridge over the rail track reservation which was designed to sit at ease with its academic partner.
