The EMMTEC project is a joint venture between the East Midlands Development Agency (emda) and the University of Lincoln. The new facility provides a centre of excellence for media and ICT outreach activities, promoting opportunities for commercial partnership by offering conference facilities which include training suites to media and IT-related industries. A small catering facility, cinema and gallery further encourage public-academic relationships.
